Come join us for a fun-filled morning at Walking Stick Woods!

Bring your kids to enjoy some nature free-play in this underused, magical patch of woods!

Park in the Peterson Park Fieldhouse parking lot and follow the walking trail that begins just southeast of the playground. At the end of the trail you'll find a little patch of woods full of friends and fun! We'll have volunteers or signs there to direct you and help you find your way.

Appropriate for kids of all ages who want to come play and connect with nature. We'll supply nut-free snacks and many forms of child-led play: dress up, art station, mud kitchen, bubbles, loose parts play, and all the fun the trees, plants, dirt, and fresh air have to offer.
